Squid Game Season 2 Netflix release date 2025

1. The "Evil Gi-hun" Theory

The creator of the show,  Hwang Dong-hyuk, hinted that Season 2 will  be much darker.

Leaks suggest that Gi-hun (Player 456) might not be the hero this time. To defeat the Front Man, he might have to become a villain himself.

Netflix has announced a  massive new cast for Season 2. While we don't know the specific games yet, insiders claim they will be "more physical and more  psychological" than before.
